I visit the choir in Callantsoog together with my sister in law. We have enjoided it very much. It was nice to see so many men who like to sing, we could see that it is fun for you also. We spoke a few of the members and we hope that you had a nice stay in Callantsoog. We wish you all the best and keep on singing!!

This is the text of the letter from the concert producer to the Chairman dated 15 December 2009.
Dear Chairman,
THE 5th JACK LANE DFC MEMORIAL CONCERT THU 10 DEC 09 IN AID OF THE RAF BENEVOLENT FUND
1. I think you saw for yourselves how well you were received on the evening of Thursday 10 December 2009 at the Central Church of the Royal Air Force, St Clement Danes. The Choir's performance was most impressive. It was Magnificent! Not only was the singing so beautiful, but you all looked splendid. The superb spectacle was complemented with the very beautiful Ann-Louise Straker and her friends Berry Clerk and Bruce Graham together with her children, Victoria and James who all looked stunning and sang magnificently.
2. These comments are backed up by many letters and telephone calls. Many congratulations to you all on a superb performance. I cannot begin to tell you how grateful we are at the Squadron to you for agreeing do this concert. I am sorry that we did not have your President, Della Jones with us, but I am sure she would have been delighted with the Choir’s first class performance. These concerts have now become a tradition.

Hello, I wanted to find out a little more about joining your choir as my dear departed mother (Sheena Lee) played piano for you for sometime. I am unsure of the level of commitment you require as i live in essex.
My mum enjoyed performing with you and i feel drawn towards singing.
Regards
Richard

Hi Mick - great to hear from you. Hope all is well. Are you singing? We'd love to see you sometime. I guess there will be a few who remember you! You can see the concert dates or call into a rehearsal at Sandilands cricket club on a Thursday (we've broken up 'til September now). Best wishes, Kim (Chairman)
